What file formats are supported?
Stock Updater Pro supports:
- CSV (.csv) - Any delimiter (comma, semicolon, tab)
- Excel 2007+ (.xlsx)
- Excel 97-2003 (.xls)
- Excel Macro (.xlsm)
- OpenDocument (.ods)
Does it work with files from any supplier?
Yes! The smart column mapping feature lets you map any column names to WooCommerce fields. You can save templates for repeated imports from the same supplier.
Add/Subtract Mode
What makes the Add/Subtract mode special?
Stock Updater Pro is the only WooCommerce plugin worldwide that supports Add and Subtract modes. Every other plugin overwrites stock values. With Add mode, you can import "+50" to add 50 units to current stock — perfect for partial shipments or when you don't know current inventory.
How does Dry Run work?
Dry Run lets you preview exactly what will change before applying any updates. When enabled, it shows each product with current vs. new values. No changes are made until you click "Apply Import".
Licensing
How many sites can I use the plugin on?
- Starter: 1 site
- Pro: 5 sites
- Agency: Unlimited sites
Do staging sites count against my limit?
No! Staging, development, and local sites don't count (localhost, .local, .test, staging.*).
What happens when my license expires?
The plugin continues to work, but you won't receive updates or support. Renew anytime to restore access.
Technical
Is it compatible with HPOS?
Yes! Fully compatible with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage.
How many products can it handle?
Tested with 50,000+ products. Uses batch processing to handle any size.
Does it slow down my site?
No. It only loads in the admin area when you're using it. Zero frontend impact.
